About T.E.A.M. 180….

T.E.A.M. 180 drives the missions and outreach work of Impact Church and George Davis Ministries. T.E.A.M. stands for Training Everyone for Active Ministry and 180 refers to our goal of helping individuals make a 180˚ turn and change their direction from darkness to light and from wrong to right. T.E.A.M. 180 equips believers to serve those beyond the walls of the church with the aim of making disciples. “We are a gospel-giving, love-living, believer-teaching, world-reaching, disciple-making team on mission with God!”                                                                                                                                          For more information or to learn how you can join T.E.A.M. 180, contact team180@icjax.com.

Homelessness is a great ill that affects Jacksonville and other metropolitan areas. The causes of homelessness include challenges with addiction, behavioral health, joblessness, and family stability, among others. Impact Church and George Davis Ministries help to address these causes through referrals and in-house programs while also mobilizing volunteers and resources to assist organizations that effectively serve individuals who are homeless.

Abortion Prevention and Care is the compassion area that addresses the needs of the unborn as well as the couples who decide whether to protect their lives. Impact Church and George Davis Ministries mobilize volunteers and resources to assist organizations that promote life and provide practical assistance to couples who decide to deliver and/or parent their children.

Human Trafficking is the fastest-growing organized crime worldwide. It affects men, women, and children locally as well as globally. Impact Church and George Davis Ministries work to raise awareness and prevention, while also mobilizing volunteers and resources to assist organizations that meet the needs of those at risk of being trafficked, currently being trafficked, or transitioning back into freedom after having been trafficked.

Orphan Care - Forever Family Missions is Impact Church’s orphan care ministry, created in response to the repeated scriptural mandate for the Church to care for the fatherless (James 1:27, Psalm 68:6). The goal of this ministry is to mobilize every Impact Church congregant and George Davis Ministries partner to be engaged in some way in caring for children who are not in the care of their biological parents. Our ultimate goal for these children is for them to be adopted by loving Christian parents and come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, thereby gaining a “forever family” both naturally and spiritually. Objectives of this ministry are 1) to reduce the number of children and youth in licensed foster care in Duval and Nassau Counties; 2) to engage at least 1,000 Christians annually in caring for orphans; 3) to increase awareness of children least likely to be adopted (children of color, sibling groups, teens, and children with special needs); and 4) to increase knowledge and support for foster and adoptive families.
